URBAN & RESORT LIEGE

An exclusive place for everyone

Resolutely open to the city, with a rich and emotionally charged history, the hotel complex « Les Comtes de Méan » is a juxtaposition of exceptional venues, each with its own distinctive atmosphere and all animated with ingenuity and creativity.

This very multiplicity is at the origin of the Urban Resort® concept, a subtle combination of aesthetics, inventiveness, comfort and relaxation, aimed at creating an exclusive place for everyone, luxurious and elegant and yet accessible to all.

The hotel has eight main premises each of which has its own distinct atmosphere and is worth visiting.

A warm welcome, a listening ear, an excellent service and professionalism are the leitmotivs of the staff whose sole aim is to offer a moment of pure emotion to every client.

Collection of exceptional venues

The Publémont hill dominating the Place Saint-Lambert, the historic heart of Liège, the former branches of the river Meuse now transformed into boulevards, facing the flanks of the Citadel at the foot of Mont Saint-Martin are still today very beautiful architectural gems.

RENOVATION AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCAVATION

Steeped in history and emotionally charged

In parallel with the renovation of the two townhouses the Walloon Region and its department of Heritage were able to undertake a great many archaeological excavations for 18 months. Remains of the wall can still be seen in the "La Cave" bar.

Exceptional heritage

The Sélys Longchamps townhouse

Intimately linked to the Comtes de Méan townhouse (the neighbour with which it formed for a very long time one and the same building just like today), the building at no. 9 of Mont Saint-Martin, better known as the Sélys Longchamps hotel, has been included in the Exceptional Walloon Heritage ".

N° 11 MONT SAINT-MARTIN

The Comtes de Méan townhouse

At Mont Saint-Martin no. 11 is located the townhouse Comtes de Méan which history has often been confused with that of its neighbour, the Sélys Longchamps townhouse. Constructed in a U-shape, its architecture is based on a central core of the 15th century that has gradually expanded and transformed over the years in different periods.
